Hiking to the summit of Teide

We offer you the opportunity to reach the highest peak in Spain. Experience a wonderful sensation, exclusive to you, which can only be enjoyed in one of the finest destinations on the island of Tenerife.

The excursion will begin with a pickup from your hotel in the south of Tenerife. We will then head to the base of the third tallest volcano in the world, where we will receive a brief overview of the national park and its key features. During this journey, we will have the opportunity to put our adventurous spirit to the test.

Mount Teide is a natural monument visited by millions of people each year. It is a volcano that forms part of the Teide National Park, which has been designated a World Heritage Site. This designation is well-deserved, as the park represents the most complete example of supramediterranean vegetation existing today and stands as one of the most spectacular manifestations of volcanism in the world.

We will ascend via cable car, gaining about 1,000 meters in altitude in just 10 minutes. From there, we will embark on a hiking route to the summit, which will take approximately 40 minutes. Along the way, we will learn about the different types of volcanic formations and walk through some of them to observe their unique features.

Once you reach the summit, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. On a clear day, you may spot other islands such as Gran Canaria, La Gomera, El Hierro, and even La Palma. It will be a wonderful memory—not only due to your physical effort but also because of the unique landscape you will behold and immortalize, leaving others envious.

Important: To ascend to the summit, a special permit is required, which will be processed after your reservation. Individuals with cardiovascular conditions, pregnant women, or those with limited mobility are not permitted to participate. The use of appropriate mountain hiking footwear is mandatory.

The collection will take place between 6:45 a.m. and 9:35 a.m., with the exact time confirmed prior to the excursion. The total duration of the activity is approximately 6 hours, concluding with your return to your starting point.
